The Alcoa Foundation used an external design firm for the initial site design; however, the firm used had little prior experience with web development. All of the graphics were recreated from scratch for the site, and a new design was created for the resource center. The layout and coding were done to match the printed design provided as closely as possible.

This site was created as a full-time employee of Alcoa.
